Soko Glam: Social Media Stoplight Assessment

This project evaluates Soko Glam’s Instagram strategy, analyzing content effectiveness, engagement levels, and brand consistency. Over a 14-day period, our team assessed the impact of promotional posts, brand storytelling, and audience interaction to identify areas for improvement.

Our research revealed that overuse of BOGO promotions and high-spending threshold discounts diluted Soko Glam’s brand impact, making the page feel overly sales-driven. In contrast, employee spotlights and in-person events generated the highest engagement, reinforcing authenticity and community-building. However, the brand lacked interactive content and educational posts, missing key opportunities to connect with followers.

Based on these insights, we recommended reducing repetitive sales promotions, expanding employee spotlights, increasing event activations, and incorporating interactive user-generated content. By prioritizing skincare education, audience participation, and strategic promotions, Soko Glam can strengthen its social media presence and foster deeper customer loyalty.
